Sunflower Pet Care was founded on a mission – a vision to help make grooming available to every pet, including those that are anxious, stressed, fearful, and aggressive at grooming salons and vet clinics. Every pet deserves to feel happy, clean and healthy, and that means patience, kindness, and a calm attitude. Minimizing the drama and potential trauma, sometimes just having Mom or Dad stay with them is all a pet needs to feel comfortable – you are always welcome to stay!

About Allison: Sunflower Pet Care (est. 2021) was born from a lifetime of love and interaction with animals, whether with her four dogs at home, a history with horseback riding, or time spent learning the craft of grooming in previous roles and courses. A graduate of Carleton University with a B.A. (Hon) in Human Rights and Social Justice, and the Veterinary Medical Assistant Program at Willis College, Allison is a lifelong learner, with micro credentials in Project Management, Grooming, Pet First Aid and CPR, and other business areas. Currently, while running Sunflower and maintaining an active volunteer schedule.
