About
Sunflower Pet Care was founded on a mission – a vision to help make grooming available to every pet, including those that are anxious, stressed, fearful, and aggressive at grooming salons and vet clinics. Every pet deserves to feel happy, clean and healthy, and that means patience, kindness, and a calm attitude. Minimizing the drama and potential trauma, sometimes just having Mom or Dad stay with them is all a pet needs to feel comfortable – you are always welcome to stay!
Some appointments may look different than traditional grooming in a salon, but Allison adapts to what the pet can handle. Senior pets and those in palliative care still need regular nail clipping and grooming to feel their best, and Allison will work with you and your pet to ensure the journey is filled with the love and care that you expect.
Rescue work is also a passion for Allison, and you can often find Sunflower Pet Care offering nail clipping at different events for different dog and cat rescues.
Sunflower Pet Care has been awarded:
2025 Canadian Choice Award in Pet Grooming Services – Perth.
Bronze in Community Votes Ottawa 2024, Pet Grooming Category.
Silver in Community Votes Ottawa 2023, Pet Grooming Category.
